Finger Lakes Escape:
A North American Jewish Adventure Getaway

in Central New York

August 28 - September 1, 2014

The Mosaic Outdoor Clubs of America Labor Day weekend event will be held this year at Camp Seneca Lake in Penn Yan, New York, with a Post-Trip in Niagara Falls.

Come take your vacation with us!

This year's Jewish Adventure Getaway is sure to be another great one. From our base at beautiful Camp Seneca Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes region, we'll enjoy the natural, scenic beauty of the area. From hiking trails to nature preserves, from water sports to wineries, from scenic gorges and waterfalls to museums -- this area has something for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Camp Seneca Lake is a lakeside Jewish/Kosher summer camp that boasts great amenities in a wooded lakefront setting. We’ll have a gorgeous waterfront, plentiful Kosher food, and lots of onsite and off-property activities during our five-day weekend adventure. Old favorites will be offered such as: hiking, biking, paddling, swimming, and touring. There will also be more adventurous activities available, including high ropes, climbing wall, and more.

The camp is located 70 miles from the closest major airport in Rochester, NY, and is an easy half-day drive from most locations in the northeast, mid-Atlantic, and Toronto, ON.  Door-to-door transportation will be provided from Rochester, as well as to and from all off-site activities during the weekend.

Your Escape to the beautiful Finger Lakes region may include: hiking in Watkins Glen and other parks and nature preserves; boating on beautiful Seneca Lake; visiting local wineries, cider mills, and working farms; horseback riding through fields, woods, creeks and up mountains; and much, much more. Our evenings will be filled with song, dance, workshops and other surprises.

For those wishing to extend their trip a bit longer, join us in Niagara Falls, NY for our more intimate Post-Trip.

Mosaic is a volunteer-based organization.  We’re always looking for volunteers to help plan this event and lead activities during the weekend.  Interested?  Contact event@mosaicoutdoor.org for more details
